Created in 2006; Railway 101 Consulting Services Inc. was designed to meet/exceed the needs of non-railroaders who respond to Railway incidents.

The basis on which this Company was launched was to ensure that real-life railway experience was at the forefront.

Railway 101 Consulting Services Inc. has been blessed with such expertise gained after 36 years of service with a major North American railroad.

That experience has contributed significantly to a broad knowledge base.
From specialized railway-based Hazardous Materials training in Pueblo, Colorado, years of active involvement with various key industry and community committees in both Canada and the US, delivery of key-note addresses, emergency response plan development (marine, surface and sub aqueous), table-top, drill and full-scale exercises, delivery of Community awareness programs to hundreds of Responders and customers alike, Railway 101 is proud, experienced and capable of meeting that need.

Railway 101 Consulting Services Inc. recognizes the expertise of many responders. Conversely, Railway 101 Consulting Services Inc. is acutely aware from years of front-line experiences at incidents and accidents, (many extremely hazardous), that many people attending railway incidents lack much needed information and knowledge. In short, many knew nothing about the railway, how it operates or how it handles itself when faced with a crisis.

This shortfall increases safety risks, unnecessary on-site hours, duplication and miscommunication.
